In the Dreamtime, when the world was young and mysterious, there lived a Kookaburra named Girabi. Girabi's laughter was so powerful that it could bring life-giving rain to the parched earth and awaken the sleepy spirits of the land. One day, while perched in his favorite gum tree, Girabi spotted a big, green Bullfrog named Yarramirri sitting by the billabong. Yarramirri was a grumpy soul, always grumbling about something or other. Girabi thought it would be a great idea to share his joy with the Bullfrog and decided to introduce himself. Girabi swooped down, his wings making a soft whooshing sound, and landed next to Yarramirri. "Ha ha ha! Good day, my new friend!" Girabi exclaimed, his eyes twinkling with mirth. Yarramirri looked up at Girabi with a scowl, "What's so funny? What's got you laughing like a mad bird?" Girabi chuckled even harder, "Oh, nothing much, just the beauty of this land!
